An eligible applicant for a staff position is someone who has: 

• an understanding of and a commitment to demonstrate and promote CISV goals;
•  the ability to share leadership duties with other adults and youth leaders and a working knowledge of group work concepts and methods;<
•  the ability to support and encourage the children, as well as a willingness to learn from them;
•  the ability to facilitate a sharing environment where mutual respect and friendship can develop between leaders, JCs, and participants;
•  administrative ability, which includes planning, organisation, time management, coordinating and control;
• effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills;
•  physical stamina and emotional balance; 
•  a warm and friendly personality;
•  an active CISV membership; and
•  completed the staff application form and two reference forms (available online - http://resources.cisv.org/).

 An eligible applicant for the Camp Director position is someone who also has:

• previous experience directing a CISV Village
•  the ability to share leadership duties with other adults while maintaining a lead role as the identifiable authority;
